Private equity firm Prophet Equity has expanded its team to focus on sourcing, structuring and closing deals in a tough market for buyout shops. In the last six weeks, Prophet has added Charles Collie to its roster for deal support.
As an executive director, Collie brings decades of asset based lending and deal experience with PNC Business Credit, National City and National Bank of Canada.
“Prophet Equity is continuing to see a surge in transaction opportunities that fit our investment sweet spot, namely strategically viable businesses that are in need of capital and operational know-how where partnering to revive cash flow is a priority for both old and new money on the balance sheet,” said CEO Ross Gatlin.
